How To Connect a New Device


  1. Click Device Manager on the left sidebar.
  2. Click Create Device (the + button).
  3. Enter a Device Name (e.g., "Main WhatsApp", "Sales Line").
  4. Choose a Connection Type:



  1. Select Business API.
  2. Click Create Device.
  3. A Facebook login window will appear (Embedded Signup).
  4. Log in with your Facebook account.
  5. Select or create a WhatsApp Business Account.
  6. Verify your phone number.
  7. Once verified, device status shows Connected.


Option B: Meta Coexistence


  1. Select Meta Coexistence.
  2. Click Create Device.
  3. Follow the instructions to link your phone.
  4. Your device will connect and show a Connected status.


Option C: Manual Configuration


  1. Select Manual Configuration.
  2. Click Create Device.
  3. Enter your custom credentials and configuration.
  4. Click Save.


After Connecting


  1. Go to your chatbot's General Settings.
  2. Link this device to your chatbot.
  3. Your chatbot will start receiving and replying to messages.


Troubleshooting


Problem

Solution

Facebook Signup failed

Make sure you're logged into the right Facebook account. Try incognito window.

Phone verification not working

Check that the number isn't already registered with another provider.

Device stuck on "Pending"

Wait a few minutes. If stuck for 10+ minutes, try creating a new device.

Quality Rating shows "Low"

Make sure your messages are relevant and not spammy.


Business API is the most reliable option for automation. You can upload a profile picture (avatar) for your device to help identify it.


Common Questions


Do I need a Facebook account?


For Business API, yes -- it uses Meta's (Facebook) setup process. For Manual Configuration, no.


Can I use a personal WhatsApp number?


It's best to use a dedicated business number. If you connect a personal number, it will be converted to a Business account.


What if I already have WhatsApp Business on this number?


Choose Meta Coexistence if you want to use both. Or switch fully to Business API for the best ReplyLa experience.
